Mike McCarthy labels Aaron Rodgers as "day-to-day" for Sunday vs Vikings

On a conference call with the Minneapolis media, Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has officially listed star quarterback Aaron Rodgers as "day-to-day" with a left knee injury.

Rodgers got rolled up on during the Packers Week 1 game Sunday night against the Chicago Bears, only to return and lead Green Bay on to an amazing comeback win.

McCarthy mentioned that Rodgers will be working with the "rehab group" this week rather than taking regular reps with the first team (as if he needs them).

Backup quarterback Deshone Kizer didn't do to hot when he was in there against the Bears throwing two interceptions and leading the Packers offense to a whole lot of nothing.

We won't know for sure about Rodgers' status until Sunday but it's something that we'll be monitoring throughout the week.
