Former Vikings WR/KR Cordarrelle Patterson is Returning to the NFC North

Indianapolis Colts v Minnesota Vikings

Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver and kick return standout Cordarrelle Patterson is returning to the NFC North. Patterson has agreed to the framework of a two-year, $10 million deal with the Chicago Bears.

In four seasons with the Minnesota Vikings Patterson caught 132 passes for 1,316 yards and 7 touchdowns but his main value came on kick returns where he averaged 30.4 yards per return for the Vikings and took 5 kicks back to the house.

After splitting off from the Vikings, Patterson spent one non-descript season with the Raiders followed by a season with the Patriots where he tallied 3 receiving touchdowns and found a niche as a fill in running back averaging 5.4 yards per carry and getting another touchdown on the ground.

Now he joins the division rival Chicago Bears as a jack of all trades player.
