Prior to being elevated to the 53-man roster, Meadors (5-11, 194) spent first week of the season on the team’s practice squad after being waived during final cuts (8/31/19). The San Bernadino, California, native originally signed with Minnesota on May 3, 2019, as an undrafted free agent. A graduate of UCLA, Meadors appeared in 42 games with 30 starts over four seasons with the Bruins, posting 149 career tackles and 22 career pass breakups. In four games with the Vikings this preseason Meadors logged nine total tackles, two passes defensed and one interception, which he returned 30 yards for a touchdown.

Hollins (6-1, 166) joins the Vikings practice squad after being waived by the team during final cuts (8/31/19). A native of Yazoo City, Mississippi, Hollins originally signed with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2019. The Eastern Illinois product started 22 games over the course of two seasons with the Panthers after transferring from Copiah-Lincoln Community College, totaling 80 receptions for 1,102 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior.
