Lakers G Bronny James was called up from the G-League and got significant minutes last night as they lost to the Sixers in Philadelphia. Doug explains why putting him on the court only proves that your franchise is more interested in making LeBron happy than actually winning games. It‘s killing morale in the locker room and has to be discouraging NBA stars from considering LA as a destination.
Doug Gottlieb: “If you‘ve seen any of these reports of De’Aaron Fox who wants to be with San Antonio...there’s nobody pining to be with the Lakers, and I gotta tell you that this has got to be part of it; that you’re not playing Bronny James 15 minutes in a game if you’re serious about winning.”
