Colin Cowherd Releases His Second NFL Mock Draft 2.0

Watch Colin Cowherd release his second NFL mock draft of the off-season with the 2024 NFL Draft less than a month away.

Check out the full segment above as Colin discusses all 12 of his selections.

1. Chicago Bears – Caleb Williams, QB, Southern California

"The easiest slam dunk pick probably since Andrew Luck and Trevor Lawrence. 120 touchdowns and 14 picks in three years -- he's a machine. He's the closest thing to Patrick Mahomes and there's nothing I don't like about him."

2. Washington Commanders – Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

"He works with Kliff Kingsbury. It's a shaky o-line and shaky run-game, and he is an electric runner and a beautiful downfield thrower. Drake Maye played in a lousy conference, this kid played in the SEC, and is the only SEC quarterback to have 40+ passing touchdowns and 10+ rushing touchdowns in a season."

3. New England Patriots – Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

"It's not going to be pretty, he'll probably sit until Thanksgiving. Next year is not a great quarterback Draft. He led the ACC in passing back-to-back years. You can get receivers later in the Draft. He looks like Justin Herbert."

4. Arizona Cardinals – Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

"Harrison, along with Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson, is the best college receiver I've ever seen. I think he'll be a star and Rookie of the Year candidate year one."

5. Minnesota Vikings [Trade with Chargers] – J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan

"I think the reason the Vikings got two picks was to move up. McCarthy will be moving into a furnished apartment. He can sit behind Sam Darnold, they have the tall Sean McVay as a coach, best left tackle in football, best receiver in football, top 5 running back, great no. 2 receiver, top 5-7 tight end, good o-line... I don't think he has a big-time arm, I don't think he has a big time NFL-body, but does Kirk Cousins?"

6. New York Giants – Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

"LSU is a receiver factory and this kid is big-time OBJ explosive. Without Saquon Barkley they need a lot of stuff and it's going to be bumpy. This kid is jump-off-the-TV fast."

7. Tennessee Titans – Joe Alt, LT, Notre Dame

"Worst offensive line in the league. I don't know if Will Levis works but the only chance he's going to work is if he's not on his back. He's a very good prospect. He is not Trent Williams, he's not Jonathan Ogden, he's going to make a couple Pro Bowls, he's very good, but the people I talk to don't quite think he has the ceiling of others."

8. Atlanta Falcons – Dallas Turner, DE, Alabama

"He was the best edge-rusher in the SEC and that's saying something. He was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and Bama does edge-rushers really well."

9. Chicago Bears – Jared Verse, DE, Florida State

"He was a monster and had 18 sacks the last couple of years at Florida State. Maybe this is a reach by five or six spots but the Draft gives you two or three great edge rushers every year and he's one of them."

10. New York Jets – Rome Odunze , WR, Washington

"He's very mature, ready to play, and you get no ego with this kid. He's just a terrific player. He's a grown-up. Good routes, a little Davante Adams."

11. Los Angeles Chargers [Trade with Vikings] – Taliese Fuaga, RT, Oregon State

"He's the best run-blocker in the Draft. What does Jim Harbaugh want to create? A more run-dominant Baltimore Raven-like offense to let Herbert throw on play-action. This kid a mauler."

12. Denver Broncos – Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

"Bo Nix works for what they want to do. A lot of underneath stuff and 'stay on script.' Sixty-one college starts, 22-5 with Oregon. There are some Drew Brees qualities -- a lot of college starts, highly productive, very coachable, super accurate, excellent decision-maker."
