Colin Cowherd: It's Disrespectful to Raiders Players to Keep Antonio Brown

Oakland Raiders v Arizona Cardinals
Colin Cowherd: “Antonio Brown’s problem is that he thought he was a big shot in Pittsburgh and then they moved him to the most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL not named Cleveland. The bosses control the employees in EVERY business, especially this one. I would cut him and get out of the Antonio Brown business. Nobody is disputing whether he's a very good player, but the Raiders went out and got Tyrell Williams in the offseason, they’ve addressed a lot of their offensive line issues, they’ve drafted defense, Derek Carr is now healthy, and say what you want about Jon Gruden, but they played pretty well last year when everyone predicted they’d bail and quit. THEY DIDN’T. AB is only worth half a point to a point a game to the spread and I’d rather have a better culture and community.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the Oakland Raiders need to cut ties with diva wide receiver Antonio Brown, as Thursday brought another wave of unbelievable breaking news stories that has made Brown’s brief time with the Raiders one of the most laughably cringeworthy tenures in the history of sports.

Brown and Raiders general manager Mike Mayock reportedly nearly came to blows after Brown posted a picture to his Instagram of a letter Mayock had sent Brown that was notifying AB that he was going to face fines upwards of $50,000 for missing team activities.

Mayock took exception to the troll job from Brown and is reportedly considering suspending Brown and voiding every penny of his $30 million guaranteed contract.

Colin says the Raiders need to get this over with and move on cleanly without Brown. Colin says it’s not like Brown was resurrecting a bad Raiders team, and says it has actually been disrespectful to the rest of the team with the organization showing such extreme loyalty for so long to such a locker room saboteur like Brown.

Check out the video below as Colin says severing ties with Brown would give the team a chance to save their locker room and save their culture.
